 The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Nurse with a Long Term Care facility/company or hospital. We will consider candidates with nursing experience in the health care industry. Entry level nurses and nurses with management experience are encouraged to apply. Must have a current Illinois Nursing License in good standing. This position will interact will all aspects of our corporate office and facilities including ownership and management, admissions, human resources, the Nursing staff along with frequent interaction with our residents, family members, and responsible parties.

Meadowbrook Manor of LaGrange, an LTC, is actively looking for Registered Nurses. This position will interact with residents, family members and responsible parties and interdisciplinary team.

Day to Day duties:

Responsibilities of the RN's include the nursing process: to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.

• Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments; following hospital and nursing division's philosophies and standards of care set by the state board of nursing, state nurse practice act and other governing agency regulations
• Resolves patient problems through multidisciplinary team strategies
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Documents patient care services
• Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping the information confidential
• Promotes patient's independence by establishing patient care goals
• Teaching patient, their friends and family to understand condition, medications and self-care skills; answering questions
• Additional duties as assigned

• Answering patient call signals, signal lights, bells, or intercom systems to determine patients' needs
• Applying clean dressings, slings, stockings, or support bandages, under the direction of a nurse or physician
• Assisting nurses or physicians in the operation of medical equipment or provision of patient care
• Changing bed linens or making beds
• Cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms, bathrooms, examination rooms, or other patient areas
